Mail checks authorized email accounts, searches mailboxes, and opens successful accounts in a local viewer. Do not use it on accounts you do not own or have permission to access.

Input

  • Select 1–100 UTF-8 text files, up to 2 GB total.
  • Use email:password or email;password, one account per line.
  • Blank and malformed rows are skipped. A login must contain @.
  • The password may contain more copies of the chosen separator.

Protocols and checking defaults

Mail supports IMAP, POP3, SMTP, Outlook, Onet, ABV, and GMX. IMAP and POP3 are enabled by default. Mail first uses its provider database, then available autoconfiguration records to locate servers. A provider may still reject a supported protocol or require an app password.

The timeout applies to an individual network operation. More threads use more CPU, memory, connections, and proxy capacity; they do not guarantee a faster run.

Proxies

Leave the checker proxy file empty for direct connections. A bare host:port is SOCKS5. Supported forms include:

Blank lines and lines beginning with # are ignored. IP addresses and hostnames are accepted. The viewer has a separate proxy setting and otherwise connects directly.

Search and optional data

Mailbox body search is enabled by default, with at most five bodies saved per query. Searches can target fields or patterns and can include bodies and attachments. Optional controls can extract an Outlook profile, save cookies, download attachments, or configure forwarding. Attachments are off by default, with a default limit of 10 and a 50 MB limit per body or attachment. Forwarding and skip-cached mode are off by default; cookie saving is on.

A completed check with no search hits does not prove the mailbox has no matching messages. Server limits, unavailable folders, or partial search failures can make a search incomplete.

Output

The default output base is Documents/krantz/mail. Each run creates a YYYY-MM-DD_HH-MM-SS directory. Account rows are written to:

  • success.txt, invalid.txt, 2fa.txt, locked.txt, and rate_limited.txt
  • captcha.txt, password_change.txt, and recovery.txt
  • errors/connection_failed.txt, server_not_found.txt, and timeout.txt
  • errors/proxy_error.txt, tls_error.txt, and tls_cipher_error.txt
  • errors/protocol_error.txt, protocol_mismatch.txt, cancelled.txt, and unknown.txt

Search output uses found.txt, search-incomplete.txt, and one search/<query>.txt file per query. Saved bodies and attachments stay below that query directory; cookies are stored below cookies/. Local history lets you reopen and filter earlier runs.

An error is not an invalid credential. Connection, timeout, proxy, rate-limit, and TLS results can be temporary; correct the displayed cause before treating the account as failed.

Viewer

Open successful accounts from local history. The viewer can browse folders, search messages, filter unread mail or attachments, read bodies, and download attachments. Delete actions appear only when the server and account permit them.

Keep credentials, cookies, search results, message bodies, and attachments private.
